Did you know the University of Minnesota had over 80 of the 203 total federal cancer research grants in
2013, the second highest number of any institution in Minnesota behind only the Mayo Clinic and
amounting to well over $20 million in resources? Currently, the University has the most grants from the
American Cancer Society of any institution in Minnesota, too. There is a great deal of life-changing work
being done right here on campus by the professors that you see every day!
